We would just like to make a shout out to all of the participants of this years pink convoy for breast cancer! It was their third annual event bringing awareness to the rally against cancer and the support of families affected by it. Though the convoy event started in Cornwall three years ago, it has since spread to Alberta, New Brunswick and Texas. The Convoy for a Cure has raised around $250,000 over the last few years, and this years Cornwall event is expected to bring in another $50,000! Drivers paid $75 to join in and most collected additional donations for the cancer foundation. Our hearts go out to those affected and we applaud those who are willing to give what they can.
